His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the RAK Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Public Service Department (PSD), H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah's Investment and Development Office, attended the 23rd finals of RAK Quran Award. The event was held at Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah and attended by HH Sheikh Saqr bin Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi, the Chairman of RAK Institution Of The Holy Quran & Its Sciences, HE Ahmed Mohammed Al Shehhi, the Director General of the Institution, HE Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Sobaian Al Teniji, Award’s General Secretary and the President of the High organizing committee. HH reviewed the assessment process, which is performed under organized and accurate standards, and the competitors’ recitations. His Highness commended the competitors’ level and the distinguished organization that reflect the award’s status under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. HH Sheikh Saqr bin Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi, the Chairman of RAK Institution Of The Holy Quran & Its Sciences, emphasized that the award assessments in 23rd session serve as milestone for promoting the Holy Quran memorizing and instilling the noble value of tolerance in the community, as the award is not just temporary competitions, it is a blessed forum for supporting the memorizers of Holy Quran and preparing them to achieve superiority and success. Sheikh Saqr added that the wide participation in such assessments reflects the significant attendance of citizens and residences in the fields of creativity and excellence to quench from the Holy Quran. Therefore, we are eager to continue the organization of this important event. Through this qualifying we aim to urge participants to achieve excellence and creative competition as well as supporting their skills in memorizing and reciting of Quran. Sheikh Saqr thanked the UAE’s wise leadership for supporting the blessed Quran awards. Ahmed Mohammed Al Shehhi, the Director General of RAK Institution Of The Holy Quran & Its Sciences, reaffirmed that memorizing Quran is on the top of human competition fields that lead man to gain the highest levels of Allah’s satisfaction. He confirmed that the wide participation in the 23rd session of the Holy Quran Award reflects the care of all community groups for joining such blessed competition, and the keenness to develop the skills associated to this valuable field. Al Shehhi praised the visit of H.H. the RAK Crown Prince confirming that the visit motivated the competitors to achieve more creativity and superiority. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Sobaian Al Teniji, Award’s General Secretary and the President of the High organizing committee, emphasized that the Award is proud for organizing the competition that contributes to enhancing the memorizing of Allah’s Holy Book and honoring memorizers. He pointed out that assessments shall last until February 2, 2025, and with 240 competitors, out of 260, from 66 nationality reflecting the UAE’s tolerance and coexistence of all nationalities and races. Al Teniji clarified that the Award reflects the support of the wise leadership’s decision of considering 2025 as Community Year. Such support includes developing new fields for the Award’s competitions to cover all the community groups in this year’s award which covers more fields including 11 varied competitions. This diversity reflects the Award’s care for expanding the participation and encouraging talented people through the several competitions. He emphasized that the Institution has launched the electronic competition “Flashes from UAE” which is an international cultural competition that targets wide audience through social media. The competition includes various questions with national, cultural, and Saria outcomes that contribute to spread awareness and promote tolerance and positivity in communities. Al Teniji highlighted the chance to participate in such Competition, inviting the people to participate and benefit from such valuable opportunities that allow them to interact with the cultural competitions and improve their knowledge and research skills. He thanked the UAE’s wise leadership for the continuous support of Quran Awards including Quran RAK Award which plays pivotal role in instilling the Quran values in the community.
