Saud Bin Saqr Receives the Graduates of "Emirati Hospitality Program"

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, highlighted the tourism and hospitality industry's importance as a gate for cultural and human interaction between nations, a message of people reflects its culture, heritage and originality for the whole world, and a prominent driver to bolstering the national economy and fostering sustainable development. This was during a reception at Nad Al Habi Majlis in Saqr Bin Mohammed City. HH welcomed graduates of the "Emirati Hospitality Program." This initiative, backed by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority and launched by "Career Lab" in collaboration with the Swiss University of Les Roches, aims to prepare Emirati youth for leadership roles in tourism and hospitality. The program seeks to elevate the global standing of this sector while increasing Emiratization. His Highness pointed out that bolstering the national identity is a basic pillar in building community and maintaining its cohesive and stability, according to the authentic values, customs, and traditions that bring pride to the UAE people that contribute to support the national economy and economic growth. H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr congratulated the graduates on their commitment and hard work in gaining essential skills to enhance their country's reputation as a top global destination. HH wished them success in their careers and encouraged them to become pioneers in advancing UAE's tourism and hospitality sector. The graduates expressed their delight at meeting the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and valued his dedication to enhancing the Emiratis people' contributions to national achievements through using all elements of care and professional training in all sectors. This reflects HH’s believe in the competency of the UAE nationals, their ability to perform the national obligations, and its effective contributions to promoting the UAE comprehensive development. Launched last January, the "Emirati Hospitality Program" spanned six months and concluded with 18 graduates receiving certificates from the Swiss University of Les Roches. First 3 months was dedicated for studying English in the Higher Colleges of Technology, followed by 3 months for training in a number of the Emirate’s famous hotels. The meeting was attended by a number of the authority, company, and hotels’ officers, and the graduate’s families.
