Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah stressed the importance of adopting a comprehensive and integrated economic approach, in which the industrial sector plays a key role in enhancing prosperity and the well-being of the emirate, as well as serving as a fundamental pillar in Ras Al Khaimah's strategy that aims to ensure a bright and sustainable future for generations. This was during the inauguration of Sobha Modular Industries for manufacturing aluminum facade, a Sobha LLC, spanning 250,000 square meters, in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone, affiliated to Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). HH commended the RAK’s achievement of economic integration and consistency, of all its vital sectors, in parallel to its overall development, which has led to its presence and status as a supportive destination for business growth and prosperity, according to the highest global standards considering environmental, social, health sustainability issues. His Highness said: “Industry is a key driver in stimulating economic growth. Our vision for the sector is to accelerate industrial progress, adopt advanced technology and innovative solutions, to enhance its role in the global competitiveness, to support our local and national economy.” “We attach importance to supporting industrial growth and enhancing its contribution to our economy, believing in the success factors of this sector, including the presence of national competencies, advanced infrastructure and promising opportunities for business growth and prosperity, which represent a strong incentive for regional and international companies to strengthen its presence in the Emirate and benefit from such ingredients to expand their businesses in the region and reach various promising markets.” Added His Highness HH conducted an inspection tour of the new facility, reviewing its manufacturing units equipped by the latest AI based machines and technologies, robotics equipment and advanced infrastructure aimed at enhancing long-term growth. Officials at the new industrial facility thanked and commended Sheikh Saud for his support to the RAK industrial sector by harnessing all the potential and providing the necessary facilities for the success, growth and prosperity of companies operating in the emirate. The inauguration ceremony was attended by many senior officials of Ras Khaimah and the Group.
